How Nanonets booked meetings with 201 companies by phone.

Nanonets builds AI agents that automate accounts payable, purchase orders and contract work. When changes in search cut into its inbound, Revgrowth ran its cold calling for twelve months, scaled it from 500 to 2,000 dials a day across three of its teams, and booked meetings with 201 companies, Samsung Semiconductor and Airstream among them.

Today, I think we're generating more leads from cold calling than through cold emailing and the quality of the leads is at par.

Inbound was slipping, and other calling agencies had already come up short.

Nanonets' largest source of leads had been buyers finding it through Google search, with cold email second. Search updates, and buyers asking ChatGPT instead of clicking a link, cut the number of leads coming in.

Cold calling was the channel that could close the gap, and it had already let the team down. Nanonets had tried other calling agencies, and none had cracked a script for a product that can work in almost any industry.

Anirudh Patri, who owns lead generation at Nanonets, was close to giving up on cold calling altogether.

What we built.

Trained callers, a script built for a defined buyer, and dial volume that grew with the program.

"The surprising part was that the number of calls that we started generating through cold calling started beating the number of calls we generate through cold emailing."
